# Downloading Your Shop Data Archive

Shop owners can download a readable copy of the shop's records from the shop's Clients page. Use it to move your shop to another system, close the shop, or keep your own backup.

1. Switch to your shop and open **Clients**.
2. Scroll to **Shop data archive** and select **Request archive**.
3. The archive shows **Waiting to prepare**, then **Preparing archive**. You can leave the page while it is prepared.
4. Return later and select **Refresh archives**. When the status shows **Ready to download**, select **Download archive**.
5. Download before the expiry time shown under the archive. Archives expire 24 hours after they are ready.

The ZIP includes shop records, artist links, client details your shop is permitted to see, appointments, projects, stored files, signed documents in their original saved form, and your shop's payments, refunds, and splits. A manifest lists record counts, file checksums, and known limits.

Artists' personal records, client details your shop cannot see, other shops' money, deleted files, and reschedules made before Apprentice saved reschedule events are not included.

Only shop owners see **Shop data archive**. If an archive cannot be prepared, request a new one. Contact support if it fails twice.
