# Generating Tattoo Designs from Text Prompts

Use **Generate** in AI Studio to turn a description into a design you can review and export.

## Generate a design

1. In your artist workspace, open **More** → **Studio** under **Gallery**, then select **Generate**.
2. Enter **Tattoo Description**. Describe the subject, line style, composition, and details you want. For example: “A black geometric circle with three dots below it, bold outline, white background.”
3. Choose **Tattoo Style** and any placement, size, or color settings you need. Check **Number of Designs** before continuing.
4. Optionally choose a project and add reference images. The current uploader accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP, with a maximum of five files. Wait for uploads to finish.
5. Select **Generate Design** once. Wait for **Generation in Progress** to finish or show an error.
6. Review the result. Check the line work, composition, and requested details. Generated designs may differ from your description, so inspect small details too.

7. Select **Save** to open **Save Designs to Project**. Choose the intended project and select **Save to Project**. Reopen that project to verify the design before relying on it being available to your client.
8. To download a copy, select **Export**. Check the format, resolution, and **Include watermark** option, then select **Export PNG** when PNG is selected.

## Improve a prompt

Keep the main subject clear. Describe what you want to change, such as thicker lines, fewer details, or a different arrangement. Review each result before deciding whether to generate another.

## If something goes wrong

- **Generate is unavailable:** Enter a description and check any required fields or upload errors.
- **A reference failed:** Remove the failed image. Do not assume its contents were used in the generation.
- **The result is missing from a project:** Check that you saved it to the intended project. Reopen the project before repeating a save.
- **A page times out:** Wait and try opening it again. Keep your exported copy and contact support if the problem continues.
