# Inviting Artists to Your Shop

Invite someone from your shop's **Artists** page. Use the email address they want to use with Apprentice.

## Prepare an invitation

1. Check that you are in the correct shop workspace. Open **More** → **Artists** under **Operations**.
2. Select **Invite Team Member**.
3. Enter their **Email Address** and choose a **Role**. The current choices are **Artist**, **Admin**, **Front Desk**, and **Owner**. Read the role description before choosing.

4. Add a **Personal Message** if needed. Check the address and role before selecting **Send Team Invitation**.
5. Ask the recipient to follow the instructions in their invitation. Return to **Artists** and check the roster after they accept. A send confirmation alone does not establish that they received or accepted it.

## If the invitation is missing

Check the address with the recipient and ask them to check their spam folder. Follow any error or expiry message shown in the invitation. Contact support if acceptance does not give them access to the correct shop.
