# Removing or Deactivating Team Members

The current member details panel includes **Remove from Shop**. It warns that removal cannot be undone. Review the person's appointments and responsibilities before proceeding.

## Find the removal control

1. Open your shop workspace, then **More** → **Artists** under **Operations**.
2. Find the member and open their card. Check the person's name and shop.
3. Scroll to **Remove from Shop** and read the warning before selecting **Remove**.

4. Follow the confirmation shown by Apprentice only when you are ready to remove that member. Afterwards, check the roster and arrange any remaining appointment work separately.

The current panel does not show a separate **Deactivate Artist** action. **Listed on Shop Page** controls visibility; do not use it as proof that shop access has been revoked.

## Before removing someone

Review upcoming bookings and outstanding work with the team. Do not assume removal cancels appointments, sends client notices, refunds deposits, or changes your subscription automatically.

If you need temporary access suspension or are unsure how removal affects records, contact support before proceeding.
