# Setting Your Hourly Rate and Multipliers

Review the pricing controls used for your tattoo work. Set rates that reflect your own services and costs.

## Before you start

Sign in as an artist and choose **Your studio**. These steps describe mobile web.
Non-tattoo services have separate **Service pricing defaults** and **Service menu** sections when enabled.

## Review standard pricing

1. Tap **More**, expand **Setup**, and choose **Settings**. Under **Get Paid**, choose **Pricing**.
2. Open **Standard Pricing**.
3. Review **Base Hourly Rate**, **Minimum Price**, and **Reputation Multiplier**.

4. Review the **Size Multipliers**. The displayed groups are Small (2–4 inches), Medium (4–8 inches), Large (8–12 inches), Extra Large (12+ inches), Half Sleeve, and Full Sleeve.
5. Scroll to **Global Pricing Settings**. Check **Auto-calculate prices**, **Show pricing to clients**, and **Round to Nearest**.
6. Inspect **Pricing Preview** after editing a value. Compare the displayed amounts before relying on the result.

## Check that changes were saved

Reopen **Pricing** and confirm the values are still present before quoting a client.
A changed preview alone does not prove that your pricing was saved.
If an edited rate returns to its previous value, stop and contact support with the setting name and the result you expected.

The visibility controls matter. Do not assume all pricing is hidden from clients.
Also check the separate **Show prices to clients** control in **Service menu** when using non-tattoo services.

## Deposits and special prices

**Deposit & Payment Settings** contains the deposit calculation method and amount options.
Review deposit terms separately from the estimated service price.
For prices tied to specific combinations, use **Pricing Rules**.
