# Understanding Data Privacy on Apprentice

Account settings contains separate access controls and security/privacy settings.

1. Open **Account menu → Account settings**.
2. Choose **Data & Privacy** to inspect the listed shop or artist relationship before touching its access controls.
3. Review the Email Address, Phone Number, Address, and Date of Birth controls for the intended relationship.
4. Use **Security & Privacy** to inspect profile visibility and account-data controls separately.
