# What SMS Notifications You Will Receive

Check your notification settings rather than assuming every app event sends a text.

1. Open **Account menu → Account settings → Notifications**.
2. Inspect **SMS notifications** and the accompanying explanation.
3. Review notification types, including appointment reminders and status updates, separately from the channel switch.

SMS notifications can include appointment reminders and status updates. Message frequency varies; check your appointment details directly when planning your visit.
