Creating Special Pricing Rules

Use pricing rules for tattoo combinations that need their own price range.


Before you start


Sign in as an artist and choose Your studio. Decide which work should match the rule and what price range to use.
These steps describe the mobile web rule builder.


Build a rule


  1. Tap More, expand Setup, and choose Settings → Pricing.
  2. Open Pricing Rules. Scroll down to Pricing rule builder and choose Create New Pricing Rule.
  3. Choose matching Style, Size, Placement, Color, and Complexity values.

Leave a field on Any when it should match every option. Read This rule applies to to check the combination.


The pricing rule builder offers matching conditions and a price range.


  1. Enter the minimum and maximum under Price Range.
  2. Set Priority (0–100). The screen states that higher-priority rules override lower-priority rules.
  3. Check Flash designs only or Touch-up work only when the rule should have that restriction.
  4. Review the combination and choose Create Rule, or Cancel to discard the draft.


Check the result


Reopen Pricing Rules and look for the rule under Your Pricing Rules.
Check its matching conditions and price range. Confirm the result on an eligible booking before relying on the rule for a quote.
If the rule does not appear after reopening, do not repeatedly create copies.


Other pricing tools


Flash Sales and Special Events have separate builders.
A flash sale selects designs and a discount; it is not the same as a wildcard price range.
Special events include dates and stacking controls. Review those controls before creating a promotion.
