Tips

  • High-quality images matter: Invest in professional photos of your shop and artists—first impressions are visual
  • Keep it updated: Refresh flash gallery regularly and update artist availability
  • Mobile-first mindset: Over 70% of clients will view your page on phones—ensure buttons are large and text is readable
  • Clear call-to-action: Make it obvious how clients book—prominent "Book Now" button in multiple places
  • Show personality: Your "About" section should reflect your shop's unique vibe and values
  • Test booking flow: Regularly go through the booking process yourself to catch any friction points
  • Monitor analytics: Check which sections get the most engagement and adjust accordingly

Common Issues

  • Issue: Custom URL is already taken → Solution: Try variations with your city name (e.g., "inkwell-austin"), add "tattoo" or "ink" to the name, or use abbreviations.

  • Issue: Images appear blurry or stretched → Solution: Use recommended dimensions and ensure images are high resolution. Compress large files before uploading to improve page load speed.

  • Issue: Changes aren't appearing on the public page → Solution: Click "Publish Changes" to make edits live. Clear your browser cache or open an incognito window to see updates.

  • Issue: Booking button leads to error page → Solution: Verify that at least one artist has public booking enabled and has available time slots configured.

  • Issue: Page loads slowly → Solution: Compress images, limit video embeds, and reduce the number of sections. Aim for page load under 3 seconds.

  • Issue: Artists don't appear on the public page → Solution: Check that each artist's profile is marked as "Public" and they haven't opted out of the shop roster display.
