Setting Default Preparation Requirements

Review the forms your shop uses for booking and preparation from Waivers. Check the selected shop before changing defaults.

Review your shop defaults

  1. In the shop workspace, open MoreWaivers under Content.
  2. Check Prep send policy. The current choices are Manual, On confirm, and Hours before. With Manual, the page tells you to send prep when you are ready.
  3. Find Default forms. Review which templates are included, their Required setting, and their phase: Booking, Prep, Either, or Flash.

Default forms shows the template's phase and Required controls.
  4. Use the move controls to set the order when needed. Check the Client preview sections for the booking, prep, and flash reservation flows.
  5. If you need another form, create and review the template first. See Creating Shop-Level Waiver Templates. Use the template's Add to Default control when you are ready to include it.
  6. Reopen Waivers after making changes and check the saved defaults. For a specific appointment, open its preparation panel and review the selected forms before sending.
  7. Check the client's preparation status on that appointment. Confirm receipt with the client when needed; a send confirmation alone does not prove they received or completed every form.

What completion means

Preparation can already show complete when the appointment has the required completed documents. Check the selected forms and the appointment's status instead of assuming a new signature is always needed.

For the client steps, see Completing Pre-Appointment Preparation.

If preparation is missing

Check the shop, appointment, selected templates, review state, and send policy. Do not change unrelated settings to work around a missing form. Contact support if the expected preparation does not appear.
