How to Submit a Tattoo Request
Send your idea to an artist for review. A request does not reserve an appointment time.
Before you start
Use the artist's current public link. Check the artist and shop names before entering your details.
This guide describes the mobile web tattoo-request form. A direct scheduling page may have different steps.
Submit your request
- Open the artist's public profile and choose Book appointment.
A shop artist's link may open a shop-branded form with the artist already selected.
- In Contact Information, enter your first name, last name, and email address.
Check whether phone is optional. Choose your preferred contact method and answer Do you have any tattoos?
Select text reminders only if you want them, then choose Next.

- In Tattoo Details, choose the style, size, and placement. Describe your idea, then choose Next.
- In Reference Photos, add images if needed. The form accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP files up to 5 MB each.
Check the previews, remove any unwanted image, and choose Next.
- In Review & Confirm, check the tattoo details, attached-image count, contact details, and any cost estimate.
Use Previous to correct a section.
- Choose Submit Request once and wait for the result.
- Look for Request Sent and the request status. Pending Review means the artist still needs to review it.

What happens next
Follow any email-verification instructions shown on the status page.
The artist reviews your request before scheduling. Check the next instructions you receive rather than treating the request as a confirmed appointment.
If submission fails
Read the error before submitting again. If the form cannot prepare optional photos, return to Reference Photos and remove the affected image.
You can submit without optional photos, but make clear to your artist that the references were not attached.
If you already see Request Sent, check that request's status before creating another copy.
