Completing Your Pre-Appointment Preparation

Check your appointment's preparation status before you arrive. Your shop decides which forms and payments are required.


Before you start


Use the preparation link for your appointment, or sign in with the client account used for the booking.
Keep private preparation links to yourself. Check the artist, shop, date, time, and timezone before continuing.


Check your preparation


  1. Open Appointments and find the correct appointment. Choose Complete prep or View prep, whichever appears on its card.

You can also open Complete Your Appointment Preparation from your notifications.

  1. On Get Ready for Your Appointment, check Your Appointment and the current step.

Follow the requirements shown for this appointment. A previously completed requirement may already be satisfied.

  1. Check for Ready! and You're All Set!. Reopen View prep to confirm that the completed status remains.



    The preparation page shows Ready and You're All Set beneath the appointment details.
  2. Read What to bring and any instructions shown below the result.

Contact your artist if the instructions do not match your appointment or service.


Forms and payments


Read any form before agreeing or signing. Ask your shop about wording you do not understand.
Never change a signed document to correct an answer; ask the shop how to record the correction.


If payment is required, review the amount and terms shown for this appointment before paying.
A confirmed booking and completed preparation are separate statuses. Check the preparation page instead of assuming confirmation means every requirement is complete.


If you cannot continue


  • No preparation button: Your shop may not have created the request yet. Ask for the link for this appointment.
  • Expired or unavailable link: Ask the shop for a current link. Do not guess or edit the link address.
  • Already complete: Check the appointment details. If they match and the page says You're All Set!, review the arrival instructions.
  • An unfinished step will not submit: Keep the error text and contact the shop. Do not send private form answers or payment details in an ordinary support screenshot.
